Don’t Sleep on the Small Plates (Fitness & Finance)
Share
Back in the day, I only loaded up the 45s in the gym. I barely touched the 10s, 5s, or 35s— I assumed they didn’t really matter. But the truth is, those small plates add real growth. They push you. They help you break past sticking points. They get you stronger when the big leaps aren’t available.
That extra $100, $190, $390 you almost spent just because “it’s not a big deal”—that’s exactly how people stay broke—by ignoring the small wins. These days, if I save $1,500 for the month and I find a way to free up a few hundred more, I stack it. Fast. $1,590. $1,690. I don’t let that momentum slip through my fingers. “Im holding on to this bread.”
Because momentum > perfection.
And if you want even a piece of freedom in your future life, you’ve got to start squeezing more out of your money. Not just saving—optimizing. Being intentional. Learning how to stretch it, stack it, and send it to work like little green soldiers.
That’s how real strength is built—under the bar and in the Net Worth column.
