A Quick Read on the Hard Truth About Money

Good fiscal behavior will bring forth a life you could have never imagined—not one full of Rolexes and Lamborghinis, but rather tasteful Casios and paid-for vehicles. Look here, when you begin stewarding the dollars you earn every month well, you'll see drastic changes in lifestyle. You won’t have 5-star this and that, but rather you’ll have the option—this is very, very powerful. It’s like a pivotal point in life because most people DON’T have the option. They must sign up for a piss-poor job that they hate to pay the debt they foolishly signed up for and to fund their ridiculous behavior around money.
I’m not saying DON’T have anything, eat at home for every meal of your life, and stay in hostels when you travel. I mean, if you are able to do some of these behaviors, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for you.
Back to what I was saying—this is not deprivation. More like, let me be frank, it’s called looking at your flippin' money instead of working your behind off, getting paid, and spending the money like a fool. It’s like shooting full auto at the range, then looking around like, "There’s... no more ammo. Darn, I didn’t even hit the target one time." In other words, I worked 40 years and have nothing to show for it. This is not what you want.
The reason why I'm writing this is because I want people to know that when you're stewarding your money well, and you do that for a long time, you are going to develop options and privileges others will never have. It sucks to say that, but it’s real. Most people will always struggle with money and barely make it month to month because they lack the discipline of looking at their money early and often, and they will never have the ability to shape their life into something that fits them a little bit better.
Look, I've been there—the behavior of working, earning, and spending foolishly without a plan. Me, Isaac, I've done it and got the stupidity award.
All I want to say is, if you actually make a plan for your money and you deviate slightly here and there (which is normal), and stay out of debt—like, DON'T do business with creditors and loan companies—and you map out your money and make it a life goal to clean up your financial mess, including the misjudgments and bad behaviors that have been imbued into your spirit... this is a big one: LOOK AT THE MONEY and keep an eye on it often.
Let me be frank again: In the beginning, like the first decade, look at the money daily. You’ll find that one day you’ll wake up wealthier than you’ve ever been, with options and choices—not only organization with your money but organization with your life. You'll find you need less to be happy. You may take up minimalism over maximalism and see your life blossom in areas like generosity and relationships. Even your jobs may become more suitable and bearable because you're not at the mercy of some creditor, loan company, mountain of debt, or less-than-proactive financial behaviors.
ACTIONABLE STEP: CUT UP THOSE DAMN CREDIT CARDS FOR GOOD—STOP DOING BUSINESS WITH DEBT ENTITIES.
